Introduction

Olivia Renee Studio LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Karaoke Sync mobile application ("App").

Information Collection and Use

Karaoke Sync is designed with privacy as a core principle. The majority of the app's features operate entirely on your device with no data transmitted externally. Certain optional features, such as AI Song Quiz and AI Song Facts, require limited communication with our servers as described below.

Audio File Access

When you import audio files into Karaoke Sync, the files are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your audio files on any external servers. This is by design to protect copyrighted content and your privacy.

Project Data

Your karaoke projects (lyrics, timestamps, and project settings) are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This data is not accessible to other apps or transmitted to any servers.

Exported Files

When you export lyrics to LRC, SRT, CSV, or Smule format, the files are saved to your device. We do not have access to these exported files.

AI Song Quiz & Facts

To provide AI-powered quiz questions and song facts, and to enforce monthly usage limits, we collect the following non-personal data:

• A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your identity)
• Monthly usage counts (number of quizzes and facts requested)
• Song titles and artist names you search for

This data is stored on our servers solely to provide the AI features and enforce usage limits. It cannot be used to identify you personally. No audio, voice recordings, or personal information is ever sent to our servers.

AI features are not available in certain regions due to third-party service restrictions.

Music Catalog Search

The AI features use Apple's music catalog to search for songs. This search happens on your device and does not require an Apple Music subscription. You can deny this access; the app will search our cached database instead.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use analytics to understand how the app is used and crash reporting to identify and fix issues. This includes anonymous usage statistics and crash reports with device information. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Data Storage

All data created and used by Karaoke Sync's core features remains exclusively on your device:

• Audio files you import
• Lyrics you enter or import
• Timestamps you create
• Project files you save
• Exported lyric files
• Voice recordings

The only data transmitted to our servers is the non-personal information described in the AI Song Quiz & Facts section above.

Microphone Access

Karaoke Sync requests microphone access to enable the Sing and Practice features, which allow you to record your voice while music plays. Your voice recordings:

• Are stored only on your device
• Are never uploaded to any server
• Are never shared with third parties
• Can be deleted at any time by removing the project

Microphone access is optional and only used when you choose to use the Sing or Practice features.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal data with third parties, except as described in the Advertising section regarding Google AdMob for displaying advertisements to free users.

Subscriptions

Karaoke Sync offers an optional Pro subscription (available in monthly and yearly plans). Pro includes an ad-free experience, unlimited projects and exports, and increased AI feature usage limits. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. See the Karaoke Sync page for current pricing.

Export Limits

Free users receive 10 lifetime exports (lyrics and audio combined). This count is stored securely in your device's Keychain and persists across app reinstalls. We do not track this information on any external server.

Data Security

Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including:

• App sandboxing (your data is isolated from other apps)
• Device encryption
• Secure Keychain storage for subscription status

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete Projects: Remove any saved projects from within the app
• Clear All Data: Uninstall the app to remove all stored data
• Manage Subscription: Cancel anytime through Apple ID settings

Advertising

Karaoke Sync displays advertisements to free users through Google AdMob. Pro subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

Google AdMob may collect the following data:

• Device Identifiers: Such as the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to serve relevant ads
• Advertising Data: Information about ad interactions, views, and clicks

This data is used for:

• Displaying relevant third-party advertisements
• Measuring ad performance and effectiveness
• Cross-app advertising attribution (only with your permission)

Your Choices: You can limit ad tracking at any time by:

• Denying the "Allow Tracking" prompt when first opening the app
• Going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iOS device

Children's Privacy

Karaoke Sync does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The limited non-personal data collected for AI features (as described above) cannot be used to identify any user, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
